Mr. Anthony Jerome Haynes was born January 15, 1963 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was the son Deacon Matthew Haynes and Helen Warring Haynes. He slipped away to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his residence.
Anthony was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County. He attended Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School. He went on to join Job Corp in Kentucky. Anthony was last employed as a landscaper at the Orangeburg Regional Medical Center.
Anthony was baptized at a young age and was a member of Warren Chapel Baptist Church. Anthony will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool and cards. His favorite football time was the Miami Dolphins. He will truly be missed by his family and community.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Deacon Matthew Haynes and Helen Warring Haynes; and brother, Matthew Haynes, Jr.
Anthony leaves to cherish his precious memory and legacy: his siblings, Jennifer Haynes (John) Brown, Gary Haynes, Timothy Haynes, and Robin (Cyntikah) Haynes; aunts, Janet Haynes Mays, Dorothy Haynes (David) Whestone, and Mozelle Davis Haynes; uncles, James Warring; nieces, Tiffany Haynes, Shanice Mingo, Shakela Morgan, Catherine Lane, and Jada Edward; nephews, Christopher Haynes, Jake Dewderry, and James Dewderry; four great-nephews; special friends, Terrance Mays, Quinton Harper, and William Clowney; a host of other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will truly miss Anthony.
