Mr. John Charles "Chuck" Parks

Mr. John Charles "Chuck" Parks, 64, of Orangeburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2025. No formal services are planned. He was born on September 2, 1960, at Misawa Air Base in Japan. In his early years, Chuck worked as a landscape artist, and later in life, he became a computer programmer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Carlton Parks Sr., of Salley, SC. Chuck is survived by his mother, Eleanor Jo Entzminger Parks, of Salley, SC; his brother, Jerry Carlton Parks Jr,. of Thomasville, NC; and his sister, Elizabeth Ann Parks Figueroa, of Kernersville, NC.

He is also survived by his five children: Eleanor Anne Parks Colemenares, of VA, Elizabeth Ann Parks, of Gainesville, FL, Emily Michelle Parks Matthews, of Tallahassee, FL, Michael Timothy Parks, of Gainesville, FL, and Jennifer Marie Parks Bowman, of Gainesville, FL. Additionally, he leaves behind 10 grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Chuck will be greatly missed and will always remain in our hearts and minds. We love you, Chuck, and we will see you again in our Lord’s heavenly kingdom.
