Mr. Mickel Lewis

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Mickel Lewis. Please pray for the Lewis family. 

Mr. Mickel Lewis was born on November 17, 1961 to the late Margarethe R. Sanders and Marcus Lewis, in Barnwell County South Carolina.

Mickel attended Brooklyn High School, Brooklyn, New York.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Belinda G. Williams; four brothers, John A. Johnson, Eddie Dowling, Jr., James Lewis, Sr., and Charles Lewis.

On Thursday, March 06, 2025, Mr. Mickel was called to glory at his residence in Bamberg, South Carolina.

Mickel leaves to celebrate his life and his precious memories: his son, Jordan M. Lewis of Brooklyn, NY; five sisters Kay(Bobby) Green of Enoree, SC Margaret Killingsworth, of Laurens, SC, Vivian Toumer, of Denmark, SC, Joyce Copeland, of Savannah, GA, Judith Thacker of Denmark, SC; one sister-in-law; Lessie Lewis, Williston, SC; a special friend; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many dear friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
